P&C Insurance Email Marketing Manager with Travelers Insurance in Hartford, CT
P&C Insurance Email Marketing Manager - Position #: 789227 with Travelers Insurance in Hartford, CT. This position plays an integral role in the development and execution of the direct to-consumer email marketing program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and launch new Direct email capability to include trigger based and re-contact email campaigns
• Work with new Direct email to outline and refine email re-contact strategy to ensure that we are collecting the appropriate information to implement an effective re-contact strategy
• Work with internal and external IT resources to ensure essential technical steps are taken for proper integration
• Ensure all Travelers Direct email programs comply with current CAN-SPAM and other email legislation
• Responsible for continuous audit of existing Travelers email creative and implement steps to drive common look and feel
• Coordinate Direct email campaigns with other internal email programs to ensure consistent messaging as well as look and feel
• Develop and refine email creative in line with Travelers brand standards, web/print creative and other current marketing campaigns
• Recognize other untapped opportunities to drive conversion with email by researching collecting, and analyzing data, leveraging internal and external resources/data sources
• Generate and disseminate management reporting to ensure that the wider team is aware of campaign performance trends
• Manage email budget, keeping campaigns on budget and within performance expectations
Education / Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration
- Experience launching email marketing programs and email tracking
- Experience working in a Property & Casualty Insurance company
- 2-4 years experience in email campaign creation and management
- Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills
- Experience working with email providers to develop, launch and measure email campaigns
- Experience with dynamic email content
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
- Experience in email creative design best practices and trends
- Understanding of consumer targeting and segmentation
