
NSO, National Science Olympiad benefits the students immensely. They are basically ranked on the basis of marks obtained. After taking the first level of the test, they can judge themselves academically at four different levels – within the school, at city and state level, and above all at All-India level.
And then, based on their national ranking, students are suitably awarded.
Any students from the II nd standard to XII th standard are eligible to appear for the NSO.
There is no extra criteria like minimum marks to be eligible.
Only among the top 500 All-India ranked students and the school toppers from each class are eligible to appear in the 2nd level exam.
