Now, if you turn back to the history, towards the 300 BC, you’ll come to know about a name, Chanakya – a name, considered as the ultimate management guru.
Chanakya, a teacher in Takṣaśila, an ancient centre of learning, was the chief architect of the rise of Mauryan empire. And his, Arthaśāstra, the ancient Indian political treatise, is frequently quoted by Indian entrepreneurs. Even, his words has been included in business courses by IIM. However, his works were lost near the end of the Gupta dynasty and not rediscovered until 1915 AD.
