Lamha is a forthcoming action-thriller film written and directed by Rahul Dholakia. Set in Kashmir the film tells a story about an army officer, played by Sanjay Dutt, and his love interest, played by Bipasha Basu.. Karisma Kapoor was finalized to play the female lead in the film, but she opted out at the last minute because she feared shooting in the troubled Kashmir valley where a significant part of the film was going to be shot.
