( www.ManishJaiswal.com ) I went to see this movie with limited expectation. Prabhu Deva’s first foray into Hindi Movie direction, could not have excited me, but I was wrong. Still not sure, if the movie Wanted is more of an Action Thriller or an All Out Comedy. What ever the case may be, I really enjoyed it thoroughly. Could not stop laughing on every second scene. Yes, I would have liked less song and dance numbers, as they were not needed and not up to Prabhudeva’s dancing genius. But, over all I would love to recommend all to see this movie.
What impressed me to see Salman Khan (Radhe), back into action role. Still, I believe that Bollywood has a perfect vacancy for an Action Star which can’t be filled by most of the Romantic Stars (Chocolaty) including the current breed of so called “Super Stars”. Yes, it was a welcome break to see Salman Khan into “Angry Young Man” role.
Many critics will say, there was nothing in the movie be it story line, climax, songs etc. but, I would call “WANTED” an entertainment movie. A movie, where the current scene can’t predict the next one. Even I liked the climax. Of course, the South Indian Villain too.
So, over all happy to rate is 3.75 on 5.0 stars. You are encouraged to watch it with family and friends, if not for any thing but to support Salman’s action come-back.
